RISE TO ADDICTION "Some Other Truth" Rise To Addiction's second album: "Some Other Truth" is a collection of the finest modern classic heavy Rock by a young band that has the knowledge and understanding of the history of the genre. Originally the brainchild of guitarists Steve Wray and John Slater, former members of Blaze, the ex Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bailey's band, the bands highly acclaimed 2007 debut album "A New Shade Of Black For The Soul", was produced by Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Opeth and Megadeth). Next to Wray and Slater, the line-up features Leigh Oates: vocals, Joel Graham: bass and Aynsley Dickinson on drums. "Some Other Truth" combines anthem-like elements with melodic eccentricities, resulting in an antidote to the soulless and mundane music that litters the Heavy Rock scene these days. |

They entrusted ATTIE BAUW (JUDAS PRIEST and the SCORPIONS, to name but two out of a list of hundreds…) with the mastering. |

JERUSALEM "Escalator" Way back in 1971 Jerusalem, the extreme feral purveyors of the filthiest, most god awful cacophony ever heard in its day, recorded the roughest, nastiest, eardrum perforating album of that distant time. The re-erected version of Jerusalem is populated by an entirely different type of animal. For their sophomore effort - only nearly 40 years after their debut - Founding members; Lynden and Bob enlisted the help of the cream of the crop of Prog-Rock with Dave Meros of Spock's Beard playing bass, Nick D'Virgilio equally of Spock's Beard and also with Tears For Fears, on drums and Geoff Downes of Asia, Yes, on keyboards. Lynden and Bob, the keepers of the flame, welcome you to revisit Jerusalem, and hope you'll enjoy the experience. They also promise not to keep you waiting another 40 years for the next album. |
