Even before the release of INERTIA much praise had already been bestowed upon COURAGEOUS, a quintet from Frankfurt, Germany. For a while now the band has been at the centre of attention within the fiercely competitive metal underground. COURAGEOUS play a fusion of modern and traditional metal, devastatingly powerful, but always with an ear for melody, sometimes progressive, other times straightforward rock. The music possesses a hint of mystery, though solidly rooted in reality, fiercely independent but not shy of flirting with crossover elements. In short this band is beyond popular trends or vulgar attempts to curry favour. |
