Release date: 2009-07-03 MP3 Download: Hooded Eagle

Way back in 1971 Jerusalem, the extreme feral purveyors of the filthiest, most god awful cacophony ever heard in its day, recorded the roughest, nastiest, eardrum perforating album of that distant time. The re-erected version of Jerusalem is populated by an entirely different type of animal. For their sophomore effort - only nearly 40 years after their debut - Founding members; Lynden and Bob enlisted the help of the cream of the crop of Prog-Rock with Dave Meros of Spock's Beard playing bass, Nick D'Virgilio equally of Spock's Beard and also with Tears For Fears, on drums and Geoff Downes of Asia, Yes, on keyboards. Lynden and Bob, the keepers of the flame, welcome you to revisit Jerusalem, and hope you'll enjoy the experience. They also promise not to keep you waiting another 40 years for the next album. |

Release date: 2009-06-26 MP3 Download: I Belong To No One
|
Italian thrash metal mongers Hyades gained worldwide attention in 2005 with the release of their debut album "Abuse Your Illusions". Two years after they issued their sophomore effort "And the Worst Is Yet to Come", Hyades is back with their third album, the loudest to date; "The Roots of Trash" - yes.Trash! - You read that right! "The Roots of Trash" is nothing less than a furious neck-breaking thrash assault on your ears and body. Again, the legendary Ed Repka, (Death, Megadeth, Evildead, Toxik, to name but a few), was responsible for the characteristic artwork. Hyades produce the perfect blend of European and US old-school thrash metal. Fast drumming, mosh guitar riffing, old-school vocals and socially critical lyrics, combined with an oddball sense of humor; their music a treat for fans of legendary bands of the genre, such as Anthrax, Exodus, Artillery and Kreator. |

Hailing from Sweden, Torch is a powerful, traditional Heavy Metal act that garnered heaps of praise in their time. The band - formed in 1980 - released their critically and commercially successful debut EP "Fireraiser" on Mausoleum Records in 1982. A year later they issued a self-titled album and finally the 1984 effort "Elektrikiss". Despite continuously scoring favourable press coverage throughout Europe the group disbanded in 1985. After a 20-year hiatus Torch are back, unleashing "Dark Sinner," a brand-new album, featuring re-recorded versions of the band's classic anthems as well as two never-before-released cuts. |
